The end is drawing near for the NHL's abbreviated 2020-21 season, and clubs are starting to secure their playoff positions. Most teams now have about 10 games to go in their 56-game schedules. As of Sunday, three clubs had officially clinched postseason berths. They're all in the West Division: the Vegas Golden Knights have ridden a nine-game winning streak to the top of the league standings, while the second-place Colorado Avalanche clinched as they returned from an eight-day break after three players entered the league's Covid-19 protocols. In third place, the surprising Minnesota Wild punched their ticket on Saturday, winning their seventh consecutive game.
